Christian van der Schijff, PT, DPT, LAT, ATC, CSCS
Physical Therapist
Throughout his time at Northeastern University for PT school Christian gained experience working with athletes in multiple settings. This included orthopedic outpatient, collegiate sports, and in the NBA with the Boston Celtics as an intern and the Indiana Pacers as a clinical student. This allowed him the opportunity to be mentored by two of longest tenured PT/AT’s in the history of the NBA. He spent one season with the Fort Wayne Mad Ants in the G-League as the team physical therapist during their bubble season in Orlando. Christian went on to pursue a degree in Athletic Training to continue working closely with athletes from the time of injury throughout the rehabilitation process. He spent the last year working as the Head of Rehab & Assistant Athletic Trainer for the Austin Gilgronis of Major League Rugby as well as the Head ATC for the Austin Blacks Rugby club and UT Men’s Club Lacrosse. Christian enjoys using manual therapy to improve an athlete’s pain level and combining it with strength & conditioning to get back on the field.
